Excellent Software Architect opportunity where you will have a key role in defining the architecture of my client's SaaS platform and designing solutions to problems.


This role will be on a remote basis with 1-2 visits to their Glasgow HQ per quarter, which will be expensed.


You will have with a significant breadth of expertise in software development and contribute to exciting projects. You will work across the Innovation department and support multiple product development teams.


This role is key to defining the architecture of their platform; designing solutions to problems, and developing proof of concept or seed projects to hand over to the product development teams.


Working in collaboration with the CTO you will strongly influence the technical design of the platform, creating futureproof and scalable solutions. You'll play a vital role within the team, utilising the best tools to define creative solutions to problems and supporting teams across the development lifecycle.


Your background


You will be an experienced Staff Engineer/Principal Engineer/Architect. You need to have a strong breadth of experience in software development, ideally Java or .Net. You will have excellent communication, as you’ll be supporting teams with complex technical decisions and being an escalation point for developers when they require support.


This role requires someone with excellent problem solving skills, using creativity to find resolutions.
