Having gained solid traction both online and in physical retail locations, the brand is now navigating a phase of significant growth and expansion are looking to grow their merchandising function. They are on the immediate look out for a merchandising assistant to come and join the business.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a self starter, ambitious individual who wants to kickstart their career in the sports & athleisure industry.

As the Merchandising Assistant:

  • Be the support function to your product development & wider merchandising team
  • Manage the critical path of booked styles with your product development team
  • Manage & accurately update the full delivery schedule
  • Communicate daily with suppliers, warehouse and your full product teams around the status of booked lines
  • Raise and manage all Purchase Orders
  • Ensure all detail within Purchase Orders are accurate at all times
  • Support with Monday Trade meetings by pulling reports for your merchandiser
  • Ability to analyse reports and data to build information & actions for your team
  • Ability to feedback opinion and fact around sales and stock from reports to your merchandiser
  • Make sure all product "goes live" when stock is in the warehouse, ensuring that product goes onto the website ASAP
  • Manage and images vs stock discrepancies yourself
  • Monitor competitors, if not daily, weekly around new product they are selling along with their prices and any mark down
  • Work collaboratively with partners and their merchandising, buying and marketing teams
  • Support with key trading periods i.e Black Friday & Christmas promo's
  • Understand freight times, challenges and ability to book in stock with forwarder's and warehouses

  • Strong interest in the sports/lifestyle & performance market
  • Strong, advanced Excel skills
  • Desired, but not essential; Degree or qualifications in buying/merchandising/business management
