We're seeking an experienced 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing financial services client. In this role, you'll be a key player in designing, implementing, and managing the cutting-edge IT services that keep our business running smoothly.


What You'll Do:


  • Collaborate with the Infra Engineering team to define and develop secure, and efficient infrastructure solutions.
  • Leverage your expertise in Microsoft Azure IaaS, Windows365, Entra ID/Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, and Office 365 to implement and manage services across the firm.
  • Work with InforSec & Support teams to ensure infrastructure adheres to security standards.
  • Design and implement technical and procedural controls to mitigate risks.
  • Implement new end-user computing services and automating M365 and Azure deployments.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT incidents and changes as part of the 3rd line team.


Your Background


  • Broad technical infrastructure skills, with a passion for Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience configuring and managing AD, Azure AD & Conditional Access
  • Strong scripting & automation (PowerShell or Python) to streamline processes & improve efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Security mindset, understanding best practices and taking a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
  • Proven track record of deploying and managing cloud infrastructure (IaaS).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC (Terraform) is a plus.
  • TCP/IP networking, subnetting, and routing. Firewalls experience is a bonus.


Bonus Points for:


  • Expertise in configuring and managing Exchange Server or Exchange Online.
  • The ability to configure and manage Microsoft Teams, SharePoint & OneDrive policies.
  • A history of automating desktop builds and deployments.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux server deployment and config management systems (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
