A womenswear fashion brand in Manchester are looking to expand in their growing buying team with an Assistant Buyer. They are a small but fast-growing and it’s a great time to be joining the brand.


The Brand

They are an established fashion retailer based in Manchester and are looking for an Assistant Buyer to join the team. You will be working with closely with the Buyer and Senior Buyer in planning new & profitable ranges for the brand.


The Role

· Attending all product launches throughout the year as specified

· Attending all relevant trade shows

· Analysis and review of previous weeks sales with the merchandising department to propose and drive actions for the week ahead

· Being constantly aware of new brands and opportunities to diversify and drive department/category sales

· Working independently in a creative and trend led environment

· Managing budgets and OTB on in seasons and forward


About You

· 1-2 years experience in Buying as a BAA

· Strong knowledge of current fashion trends

· Excellent analytical and negotiation skills

· Ability to identify and respond to customer preferences

· Effective communication and relationship-building skills

· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

· Passion for the fashion industry and understanding of the target market

· Knowledge of supply chain and logistics is a plus


Salary

The salary for this role is £29k


This role will be based 5 days a week in the office.
