Corporate Senior Associate London


Our client is a leading international law firm with a highly regarded corporate practice. The team handles a range of deals from traditional M&A and Private Equity to complex MBOs, JVs and corporate advisory work. The client list across a range of sectors is stellar and they are looking for a Senior Associate to join to add further depth to the department.


Summary


  • Job title: Senior Associate

  • Salary: to £195,000
  • Reports to: Partner
  • Work pattern: Hybrid
  • Previous experience: 5 PQE + – Ideally a solid background in M&A work and Private Equity experience.


One on the most varied corporate solicitor jobs in London at the moment


Clients include public and private corporates as well as known private equity houses. Particular sectors of focus are:


  • technology and media,
  • retail,
  • insurance
  • financial services.


Despite contemporary challenges to the UK economy, a steady flow of work continues. Deal volumes are still predicted to remain resilient and our client is perfectly poised to take full advantage. Our client has a thriving corporate offering in London focusing on an impressive spread of M&A and Private Equity work.


Positive and supportive culture


Whilst any corporate team will have its demands. This is a department which continually nurtures and promotes a supportive culture. A number of the team have joined from top global firms, so while the quality of work is high, the expectations are not excessive.


Key attributes


  • an experienced Associate or Senior Associate
  • minimum of 5 years PQE.
  • Experience in broad spread of M&A and PE experience.


You will also be at the stage of your career where you will be taking an active role in BD. One of the key aspects of this role is that the team is looking for someone who can play an active role in helping to drive the team.
