We’re looking for an Electrical Field Engineer to support large-scale industrial operations across the UK and Ireland.In this role, you’ll take the lead on maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning and upgrades across a wide range of electrical systems—keeping critical plants running safely, efficiently and reliably.What you’ll be doingResponding to electrical breakdowns, diagnosing faults and getting plants back online quicklyCarrying out planned maintenance, major overhauls and shutdown supportOverseeing contractors to ensure safe, high-quality workSupporting installation, commissioning and acceptance of new equipmentDelivering technical reports, recommendations and long-term solutionsSuggesting improvements to enhance safety, reliability and performanceWhat we’re looking forA formal electrical apprenticeship + HNC (or equivalent)Strong experience with motors, switchgear, protective relays, HV systems, controls, transformers, and generatorsAbility to read control drawings and work independently in fast-paced environmentsHands-on troubleshooting capability + strong technical judgementFlexibility to travel across the UK/Ireland and respond to plant needs Experience in industrial gases, petrochem, heavy industry or similar is a bonusWhat’s in it for youCompetitive salary and strong long-term career progressionDevelopment opportunities across different projects, technologies and regionsThe chance to play a key role in future-focused energy and sustainability projectsIf you’re a motivated Electrical Field Engineer who thrives in dynamic environments and wants to be part of a business driving the energy transition—this one’s for you.
