Our client, a reputable UK law firm, is looking to hire a NQ-3PQE non-contentious Construction Associate on a permanent basis.

Role Overview:


Key responsibilities include:


  • Drafting and negotiating building contracts, sub-contracts, security forms, appointments, and collateral warranties/third-party rights.
  • Providing expert advice on procurement methods, including design and build, traditional procurement, and construction management.
  • Assisting in the preparation and appraisal of amendments to standard forms of building contracts.
  • Conducting negotiations with professional teams, building contractors, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Developing bespoke forms of building contracts tailored to clients' specific needs and procurement requirements.


Ideal candidate:


  • UK qualified solicitor with 0-3 years of PQE.
  • Completion of a non-contentious construction seat during legal training.
  • UK private practice experience is essential.
  • Knowledge or experience in commercial real estate is desirable but not essential.
  • Demonstrated interest in construction law and a willingness to develop expertise in this area.
