Based in Paignton, Devon, Investment Casting Systems Ltd (ICS) offers a full bespoke and complete manufacturing service to high technology engineering sectors including aerospace, defence, and investment casting foundries. Specialising in high-quality products and tooling, we manage projects from initial design to final production , including in-house services for toolmaking, injection-moulding and manufacture and technical composite manufacture. ICS is recognized as one of the few AS9100 toolmaking companies worldwide and holds a 'World class' toolmaker status by the Gauge and Toolmakers Association (GTMA).
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Toolroom Foreman at Investment Casting Systems Ltd in Devon. The Toolroom Foreman will have full responsibility and accountability for the planning and manufacture of mould tools, fixtures and general toolmaking. Working on the shop floor to drive best practice for manufacturing techniques and high levels of productivity, they will be responsible for leading, motivating, training and the continuous development of the team of toolmakers.
Qualifications
- Time served engineering apprentice
- Supervisory Skills and Communication abilities
- Proven track record of delivering effective engineering solutions within cost, time and quality requirements.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
