Coalesce Management Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a dynamic software development team.. This is an initial 6 month piece of work with the possibility of extension. The role can be remote based and falls inside IR35.


Role Overview:

Develop and support embedded software in C for Air to Air Refuelling pods, specifically for hose and drogue refuelling systems. you will also be responsible for producing and maintaining the associated documentation, ensuring adherence to the appropriate processes, practices, and tools to meet technical and quality requirements in compliance with RTCA DO-178B/C standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support embedded software in C
  • Create and review documentation detailing the software development process.
  • Experience in Configuration Management, Requirements Management, Design, Modelling, Trace, Static Analysis, Software Builds, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • RTCA DO-178B/C and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).


Skills:

  • Proficiency in C programming.
  • Knowledge and experience with RTCA DO-178B/C and MBSE.
  • Aerospace / Defence background
