IRB Consultant Opportunities (UK)

Are you an experienced IRB Consultant with a strong background in risk management, analytics, and model development? We’re currently seeking exceptional consultants to join our team in delivering impactful solutions to clients across the UK.


As part of a high-energy recruitment push, we’re looking to bring on board four IRB consultants. This role is designed for skilled professionals with 5-10 years of hands-on consulting experience, ideally at a senior consultant or manager level.


About the Role:

  • Location: Primarily remote with regular client-facing work, predominantly in London. Easy access to London is ideal as most clients are based here.
  • Flexible working: While we don’t have a formal office space, our team meets weekly at in London for optional networking and team-building.
  • Compensation: Competitive and flexible, considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Academics: Strong academic background from a reputable institution (Red Brick preferred but not required). We’re open to international backgrounds if your professional experience is solid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IRB (Internal Ratings-Based) models, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality client delivery.
  • Partner closely with clients to identify, assess, and address their unique IRB needs through bespoke model solutions.
  • Work collaboratively in a consulting capacity, applying best practices in risk management and analytics.

About You:

  • 5-10 years of IRB consulting experience, with a depth of practical, hands-on model development skills.
  • Adept in building and optimizing IRB models for various clients, balancing technical depth with client-facing capabilities.
  • A natural problem-solver, ready to handle diverse challenges and meet client demands dynamically.
