Bid recruitment are currently looking to recruit a Bid Manager to work on a remote basis but ideally based in the West Midlands, this vacancy will pay between £40 to £55k.


Due to expansion my client is looking to recruit a Bid Manager who can cover the end to end bid process


My client is a specialist provider of Water Treatment, Water Hygiene services and they have offices in Central London and the West Midlands and work for some of the UK’s leading public and private sector organisations. They combine their extensive technical expertise with their practical technology solutions to help their customers comply with their complex building compliance requirements.


Main Duties


  • Coordinate the the overall bid submission process including writing compelling content


  • Monitor all software portals


  • Take a leading role in writing, publishing and submitting bids


  • Liaise with subject matter experts and to be competent working in conjunction with bid libraries


  • Develop a bid / No -bid process that will enable each tender opportunity to be scored and evaluated


  • Produce and agree the bid programme identifying key dates for the submission of the information review dates and the deadlines and all team members are clear on the expected deliverable


  • Attend tender presentations and take a leading role, alongside the sales team in presenting solutions to our customers.


  • Review successful and unsuccessful tender submissions and provide feedback and lessons learnt to promote continuous improvement


Qualifications and experience


  • Previous experience in a similar role or looking for the next step up / promotion


  • Ability to demonstrate the successful management of private and public bids


  • Strong financial and commercial awareness


  • High level of attention to detail


  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to engage with stakeholders
