Interim Financial Controller

Interim Financial Controller
Our client, a dynamic leader in distribution and logistics, is looking for an Interim Financial Controller to join their team for a 6 month contract period.
The main purpose of this role is the integration of all accounts data and processes of a new acquisition, ensuring full compliance with the group’s systems and processes.
This is a hands-on position and responsibilities will include:
- statutory accounting, reporting, controls and compliance.
- monthly management accounts.
- monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- quarterly VAT return.
- maintenance of fixed asset register.
- cashflow forecasting.
- prepayments and prepayments.
You should be a fully qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) who has strong technical accounting and processes experience, be IT literate with advanced Excel skills and excellent communication and organisation skills.
This role is office based in Northampton with occasional travel to Derbyshire.
