The role

Working within a highly skilled and talented award-winning cyber security team you will be responsible for the management and delivery of our 24x7 MS biased SOC. As a seasoned security professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience gained in SOC, IR and threat intelligence you will lead a team of analysts and engineers to maintain and grow this cornerstone service of our business. You will be an effective leader, able to successfully support and grow your people team, as well as a respected security professional able to maintain and grow the operational delivery of our SOC.

Key responsibilities

Manage the operational delivery of a 24x7 SOC service

• Upholding all KPIs, SLAs required by our business and our clients, ensuring customer service is prioritised throughout.
• Own and manage internal interfaces across all teams
• Own existing client relationships for SOC service delivery, and support the attraction of new ones
• Develop and retain a skilled team SOC team that can maintain and deliver a 24x7 service
• Act as a technical specialist /subject matter expert

Essential skills to be successful

• A minimum of 5 years previous experience in SOC roles, with appropriate service delivery knowledge, supported by appropriate certifications and accreditations
• Strong technical competencies including but not limited to the MS security stack - Sentinel, Defender, InTune etc. Additional skills in AWS and Google Cloud preferred.
• An excellent communicator, able to run and manage teams
• Ability to successfully own and manage client relationships
