About the job
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Product Developer who thrives in a start-up environment. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our newest branded product range, in bakery and other categories, working closely with both our own manufacturing sites, and external partners.
What You’ll Do:
- Stay ahead of market trends by researching competitors, attending food shows, and exploring food markets to inspire product development.
- Lead the development of products across various categories, ensuring they meet our brand guidelines and customers' needs.
- Work with our manufacturing sites and partners to bring innovative products to market, managing everything from concept to launch.
- Build strong customer relationships and present new product developments with confidence.
- Keep everything on track by managing the critical path and ensuring all products are launched on time.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years in a food product development role.
- A food lover with a passion for discovering new trends.
- Confident in presenting, with the ability to impress clients and share your food knowledge effectively.
- You’ll need a good understanding of retail accounts and customer needs.
- A strong communicator and relationship builder with commercial acumen.
- Adaptable, resilient and composed under pressure.
- Ready to travel in the UK and globally as needed.
- A driving license is required for this role.
- Confident computer literacy – excel, word, PowerPoint
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Additional languages are advantage but not necessary.
