We have an exciting opportunity to join our Travel Claims team as a Claims Handler. Full training for the role will be provided so don’t worry if you don’t have any direct experience. As long as you are willing to learn, and you are passionate about customers you’ll fit right in.Key ResponsibilitiesRegistering new claims and making decisions on whether a claim will be coveredManaging existing case loadMaintaining SLA 5-7 days settlementThorough investigation of claim details and documentationKeeping the customer updated throughout the claims lifecycleMaintain excellent communication with customers and colleaguesPut forward ideas for suggestions for improvement for the team and wider departmentWorking in line with department KPI’sCorrectly identifying prospects for recovery and pro-active pursuit (dual insurers or liable parties)Correctly identifying potentially fraudulent claimsSkills/Experience RequiredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamClaims experience is desirable but not essentialBe accountable and take responsibilityAdhering to core competenciesSharing experiences and knowledgePositive attitude, approachable, helpful and friendlyEffective time managementExcellent customer service skills, exceeding expectationsAdditional InformationThe start date for this position will be the 9th of February.If successful after application stage, you will be invited to attend a screening interview with a member of the recruitment team.
