Shift Pattern: Days based role


So what's it all about?


As our next Maintenance Engineer (Days), you will be resilient and adaptable due to the nature of the fast-paced environment you will be working within. Using your own initiative will be key whilst also collaborating with the engineering team and other departments across the site.


Working with a team of skilled Engineers, you will be responsible for not only repairing issues with the bakery production lines but encouraged to implement positive ideas in the reliability of the machines moving forward.


You will be a vital member of the day's maintenance team and will be instrumental in the diagnosing of mechanical faults within the factory. Your remit will be to carry out essential machine maintenance to ensure the smooth running of the production line and limit downtime.

You will also carry out essential maintenance of the site's utilities and facilities.


You will be passionate about the role Engineers play in making improvements and how you can proactively influence situations instead of just being reactive. In this role, you will ensure faults are found quickly and repaired efficiently.


You will be working a varied days shift for this role.


The Key Requirements...


  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment
  • Able to demonstrate a strong work ethic
