Purpose

We require a Financial Analyst (Business Analyst) on an Initial 6 Month FTC, to support the organisation in managing its working capital. You will be responsible for reporting Camira’s Global Working Capital performance. This role has been designed to support the business in meeting its cash flow requirements through finding opportunities within the current working capital cycle.


The key purpose of this role is to support the business in reducing the length of its average cash cycle (Debtor Days + Inventory Days – Creditor Days) with an initial focus on Inventory Days. Working closely with the Head of Projects, you will be analysing global inventory data, working with departments to liquidate slow moving items and creating controls to protect against excessive inventory while supporting service levels.


Key Responsibilities/Main Duties:

  • To Identify risks within Camira Inventory and to advise on the correct action required to mitigate them
  • To work closely with supply chain, customer services and sales to improve inventory turnover
  • To report monthly performance of inventory turnover and recommendations for improvements
  • To report the performance of working capital and provide cash flow commentary to the board
  • To analyse and report the performance of debtor and creditor balances and their impact on group cash


Education/Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

  • CIMA, ACCA, ACA part qualified or Qualified by experience
  • Strong understanding of cash flow drivers
  • Has previously worked in the manufacturing sector
  • Previous experience working in a finance team where stock is a major focus
  • A strong background in challenging assumptions and driving change
  • Experience of working in a fast moving, multi-site environment.
  • Experience using AS400, Power BI and of cash flow reporting (Desirable)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Presentation and project Management skills (Desirable)
