Business Analyst – Aviation/Travel Sector

£400 per day Inside IR35


A leading technology solutions provider to the travel sector is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join them on a contract basis, for an initial 12 month period.

The role will be focussed on a world-leading software platform, working as part of a team to develop bespoke features for their end clients. The team works closely with Global colleagues across multiple sites, and technical divisions, eg R&D, Testing, Product Management and Implementation.


Key responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and conduct detailed functional analysis of complex requirements.
  • Interface with relevant departments to identify interactions and ensure functional compatibility.
  • Work with Development, QA and Product Management to obtain specification validation from functional reviews.
  • Support Development teams around technical design for their own area.
  • Support QA teams to product quality by giving inputs for the test strategy
  • Produce high-quality documentation that is clear and easy for the target audience to understand.


Essential skills:


  • Proven background as Business Analyst within design, development and operation of large scale, complex systems.
  • Experience of Kanban, SCRUM and SAFe methodologies.
  • Experience designing and delivering complex cross-functional features, is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, and strong customer focus.


Desirable

  • Experience working within the travel industry.


Rate: £400 per day inside IR35

Duration: 12 months

Location: Hybrid working, 2-3 days onsite near Heathrow
