Varied role, in a well known retail business. You will be involved in some large scale change, working in a talented and close knit, happy team.


The role

Can you turn your hand to anything and create simple, user friendly solutions for colleagues and customers?

The application architecture is complicated, but that offers some really interesting challenges for you to get your teeth into.

You are likely to be aligned to a programme, taking architectural lead for the programme, working with a PM and BA.


The business is a well known and respected retailer. They are a big brand name, leading their industry in customer engagement and rapidly developing a successful blend of physical and digital interactions.


We are looking for Solution finders - experienced Digital Solution Architects with a good understanding of retail, e-commerce, supply chain, logistics and customer service channels.


The technology and skills required


  • Understanding of Architectural Frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
  • Cloud technologies – IaaS, PaaS, SaaS (in any public cloud)
  • Microsoft Azure such as Logic App, Functions, Data Factory, Event Grid, Microservice, APIs, Power Apps and Office 365
  • Integration patterns (API’s, Microservices etc)
  • Tooling (Postman, Swagger, VS Code)
  • APTOS ePOS
  • SAP
  • Ecommerce (Sales Force Commerce Cloud)
  • Customer Services (Sales Force Service Cloud)
  • Payment (Ecommerce, Card Present, Credit Agreements, Gift Cards)
  • Supply Chain (Infor, Manhattan etc)
  • Work Force management (e.g. Day Force)
  • Database Technologies (SQL, Cosmos etc)
