Systematic Hedge Fund - Senior Frontend Developer - London


A systematic hedge fund here in London, is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to be the SME in Frontend across the fund. The Developer will work closely with front-office traders/quants to develop new trading tools and data visualisation applications and platforms to enhance their systematic trading activities.


Info on the firm:

They are a proprietary trader of global financial markets and use a combination of machine learning and algorithmic trading strategies to trade futures on the CME, Eurex, ICE and TMX.

They are a small team with an open, collaborative culture where everyone contributes to the core strategies and technology.


Requirements:

  • At least 6+ years of professional programming experience within finance/trading.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex web interfaces,using technologies such as TypeScript and React.
  • Deep understanding of UI principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with automated testing and testable UI.
  • Experience with performance optimisation and scalability.
