Adeptis Group is partnered with a reputable aviation business, renowned for its global presence and innovation in the industry. We are currently seeking a skilled Network Cyber Security Engineer with a strong background in connectivty security and cyber defence.


Position Overview:

As a Network Cyber Security Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with a leading aviation company, leveraging your expertise in network security to design, implement, and maintain secure network solutions. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about enhancing cyber security and ensuring the smooth operation of network systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure secure, reliable, and seamless access to company resources globally.
  • Implement and maintain network and connectivity security solutions, including products like Akamai and AWS WAF.
  • Follow established security standards, reference architecture, patterns, and guidance for implementation.
  • Conduct cyber reviews to ensure adherence to security standards and evaluate risk exposure of existing systems.
  • Engage with colleagues across functional areas to address pain points and continuously improve connectivity capabilities.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to promote secure communication practices.
  • Maintain an up-to-date threat model and cyber view of the network and connectivity landscape.
  • Perform network assessments, audits, and optimisations to ensure performance, security, and compliance standards are met.


Requirements | Desirables:

  • Strong technical skills in designing and implementing secure networking solutions.
  • Experience with network security products such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, and DDoS mitigation solutions (Akamai experience is desirable).
  • Knowledge of software-defined networking and cloud networking (desirable).
