Role Overview

As a Senior Designer at Malaberg, you will be part of the design of our existing and new brands from concept to launch and beyond.


You’ll stretch your design skills across every aspect of design, from web to packaging. You’ll work with our Chief Brand Officer to bring brand strategy into daily design needs and put your stamp creatively across the board.


As such, this role is perfect for someone who wants constant variety and the opportunity to creatively direct, rather than just design. 


You’ll manage the workflow of freelance talent and junior designers to bring our visions to life.

  • Design and redesign websites
  • Landing pages and funnels
  • Print material to go with our products
  • Physical product design
  • Packaging design and labels
  • Social posts and ads


We own our D2C brands from start to finish, so every touch point you can imagine, you will have the opportunity to shape it and leave your mark. 


You will work closely with brand managers, founders, engineers, and stakeholders to keep making our brands perform at their best.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day design tasks across digital and packaging, ensuring every design touchpoint is executed to a high standard.
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Brand Officer to bring creative ideas to life, participating in brainstorming and ideation while ensuring alignment with the brand vision.
  • Facilitate design reviews to maintain consistency and quality across projects, ensuring deliverables are on-brand and strategically sound
  • Manage the workflow of freelance and junior designers, making sure projects are delivered on time and to spec (you will not be responsible for mentorship or performance reviews)
  • Take ownership of design across multiple brands across various mediums, from websites and landing pages to product packaging 
  • Shape and evolve brands in partnership with the Chief Brand Officer, with significant autonomy to leave your creative mark
  • Work iteratively, quickly adapting and refining designs based on customer feedback and self-initiated improvements across brands

  • Confident with stakeholders: Comfortable talking to and navigating stakeholder relationships.
