Your job will be to manage procurement processes from end to end, including writing specifications, consultation with stakeholders, determining appropriate award criteria, managing advertising tender opportunities, and receiving bids, co-ordinating the marking of bids against award criteria and writing contract documentation. To manage the implementation of contracts.
You will be responsible for identifying areas of noncompliance to regulations and ensure solutions are met.
You will monitor key performance indicators and provide management with information on spend and performance and take corrective actions where necessary.
What you’ll need
- Significant experience in a public sector procurement environment.
- Extensive experience managing tender processes, suppliers, and contracts.
- Knowledge of UK contract law and EU procurement legislation.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workload, and solve problems.
- CIPS (L5) or an equivalent degree.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £41,000 + excellent benefits and a competitive pension. Remote / Flexible working but must be able to travel to Leicester office at least 2 days a week.
