The Opportunity

Our client is a true 'tech for good' business operating in the pharma industry - they produce innovative products that enable some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies analyse the safety and effectiveness of life saving products.


Highly analytical and complex software that is designed by some of the brightest minds from a scientific and technical persuasion - where your work will and does help to save lives.


HYBRID WORKING:

Initally 3 days a week in Leeds city centre office (Includes Free Parking). This is in order to be able to put face time to your product team (technologists and scientists) as well as sprint planning purposes - also due to the complexity of the products it will be helpful for the new Solution Architect to hit the ground running

The What?

Within this role you will report to the Lead Architect and will be seen as a Technical SME. Our client are looking for someone passionate around mentorship & coaching as well as providing thought leadership in respects to technical decisions and architectural design.


The platform the successful Technical Solutions Architect would be leading on is one of our clients most complex SaaS platforms and the role will be heavily orientated around AWS architecture & what facets of AWS to utilise, viewpoint around security as well at times diving into the code base to investigate. Thought leadership from a security perspective as well as scalability perspective i.e. what technologies to use to enable that as well as to achieve the technical solutions road map is also critical.


To Summarise:


  • Strong AWS / cloud architecture experience.
  • Security / API security & DevOps architecture ideally
  • Coming from a software engineering background.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and a track record of technical 'thought leadership'.
  • Proven ability to work across products and manage multiple projects.
  • Culturally alligned to our clients values around continual learning and personal development
