Job Description: My client are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth in our air and ocean freight forwarding services, leveraging your industry knowledge and network to identify and pursue new business opportunities.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to generate new business and expand market share in air and ocean freight forwarding.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients through targeted outreach, networking events, industry associations, and referrals.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their logistics needs and offering tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, pricing, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of services and exceed client expectations.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to win new business and achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our services and expand professional network.
