Salary: up to £150,000 DOE


Our client, a leading London law firm, is seeking a talented Associate/Solicitor to join their expanding Fraud and Commercial Litigation Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment, with the chance to work on high-profile cases and play a pivotal role in advising clients on complex disputes across various sectors, including litigation, financial services enforcement, regulatory investigations, and arbitration/public international legal matters.


This is an exciting opportunity to work with a renowned practice that delivers exceptional legal services to some of the top UK and international corporations and HNW/UHNW individuals.


The Role:

  • Handle a diverse caseload and play a key role in representing clients in complex civil fraud claims and commercial disputes, leveraging your expertise to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Navigate High Court commercial disputes, applying your knowledge to address intricate legal issues.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis, including assisting with applications for interim relief, and work with Counsel where required to ensure strong case preparation
  • Draft compelling legal documents, providing clear and concise communication to clients on complex disputes.
  • Handle all aspects of criminal and enforcement matters across a wide range of sectors as pertaining to litigation and arbitration.
  • Conduct regulatory investigations and represent clients in arbitration and international trade disputes.
  • Collaborate closely with your team to deliver exceptional results for clients.


Requirements:

  • 2+ years PQE specialising in Civil Fraud and Commercial Litigation, gained at a large commercial, or boutique/specialist law firm.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of handling Civil Fraud claims and relevant legal principles.
  • Proven track record with experience in High Court commercial disputes.
  • Solid academic record demonstrating a high level of legal proficiency.
  • An ambitious and driven individual who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex legal issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at crafting clear and persuasive legal arguments.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and deliver results under pressure.
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively.
