SAP Finance (FI/CO) Consultant

We are an innovative leader in the construction equipment industry, specializing in high-quality cranes and lifting solutions for diverse applications worldwide. Our commitment to operational excellence extends into our digital systems, and we’re seeking a skilled SAP Finance Consultant to support our SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. This role will play a critical part in enhancing our finance processes and ensuring that our SAP environment supports business goals effectively.


Responsibilities


  • SAP FI/CO Module Management: Lead the configuration, implementation, and support of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with finance, accounting, and business teams to understand and document business requirements, translating them into SAP solutions.
  • System Customization: Configure SAP modules to meet business requirements, including GL, AR/AP, asset accounting, cost center accounting, and profitability analysis.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze existing financial processes, recommend optimizations, and implement best practices.
  • Integration and Testing: Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP) and conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, user acceptance).
  • User Support and Training: Provide end-user support, create documentation, and conduct training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop custom reports and dashboards to provide insights into financial performance, cash flow, and cost controls.


Requirements


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience as an SAP FI/CO Consultant, with hands-on expertise in configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of SAP FI/CO modules, including GL, AP, AR, AA, and CO-PA.
  • Experience with integration points between FI/CO and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP.
  • Knowledge of S/4HANA is a strong plus.


Technical Skills:


  • Proficiency in SAP FICO module configuration.
  • Knowledge of SAP best practices and industry standards.
  • Basic understanding of ABAP for debugging is a plus.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with stakeholders and end-users.
