CMC are looking for a Electronics Engineer to join one of our Defence/Marine clients. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development and analysis of electronic systems and circuits across a range of innovative projects.You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams (Up to 20 +) contribute to a large project ongoing project and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organisation.About the role:Location: Based in Rugeley, Birmingham.Working Arrangement: Hybrid - (2/3 Days per week)IR35: Inside IR35Start Date: Actively Interviewing, ASAP start dateUK Eyes Only + Ability to get SC Clearance / SC ClearedWhat you will do:Design, develop, and analyse electronic circuits and systems.Capture and review schematics and circuit designs.Define system requirements and ensure design compliance with project specifications.Provide PCB layout guidance and conduct design reviews.Select and evaluate components based on performance, reliability, and cost.Support project and programme objectives with varied engineering tasks.Participate in internal and customer-facing technical meetings.Produce and maintain documentation in line with established procedures.Contribute to Continuous Improvement activities within the engineering teamEssential Qualifications & Experience:Minimum HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).Strong team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills.Quick learner with a flexible and adaptable approach to problem-solving.Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and techniques.Knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design principles.Experience with schematic capture and design documentation review.Familiarity with circuit simulation tools and wiring definition.Understanding of PCB layout supervision and design standards.Desirable Skills & Experience:Experience with EMC design and compliance.Exposure to environmental qualification processes.Existing or previous SC (Security Check) clearance.Proficiency with Altium Designer or other ECAD software.If you feel you could be a good fit, please get in touchCMC provide expert engineering solutions on an international capacity for advanced engineering projects.
