Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Due to our success we are looking to recruit an additional Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our vibrant, high energy and professional team in Uddingston, Glasgow.


The main responsibilities for the role are:

  • Connecting with candidates across the globe in different sectors utilising LinkedIn, job boards and resourcing tools
  • Following job specs to create and carry out tailored candidate searches
  • Utilising social media and job adverts to increase brand awareness of SevenSteps to attract candidates and clients
  • Recording and updating candidate and client detail on our candidate management system
  • Initially screening candidates against job specifications before booking interviews for Recruiters

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient IT skills, MS Office packages
  • An ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • This position would suit a recent Business , Marketing or HR Graduate with some demonstrable work experience, although a degree is preferred and is not essential.

The package on offer:

  • Basic salary up to £25,000 dependent on experience
  • Generous bonus scheme
  • Working hours are Mon-Thurs 0900 - 1700 and Friday 0900-1600
  • Flexi start and finish 08:30 – 09:30 and 16:30 – 17:30
  • Hybrid working following probation completion
