About the Role

As the Senior Contracts Director, you will lead all aspects of contract administration and management, ensuring the successful implementation of contractual frameworks across the project lifecycle. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage procurement processes, resolve disputes, and provide strategic contractual guidance. Your expertise will ensure the project’s success and adherence to industry and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective contract management strategies to support project goals.
  • Oversee procurement processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Lead negotiations, manage disputes, and provide expert guidance on contract-related matters.
  • Monitor contract performance, identifying and addressing potential risks.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of contractual obligations and progress.
  • Collaborate with legal, technical, and project management teams to align contract execution with project objectives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in contract management within large-scale transportation and rail projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of procurement processes, contract law, and dispute resolution.
  • Proven ability to manage complex contractual frameworks in high-value projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
