The Planet Group has recently partnered with a leading aerospace company to recruit an Employee Relations Partner for an initial 12-month contract.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with managers on employee relations (ER) issues, including performance, policy breaches, sickness, discipline, grievances, and flexible working.
  • Support restructuring projects (redundancy, TUPE).
  • Advise managers during Disciplinary Advisor Committee calls, guiding them in making recommendations.
  • Support on cases reaching ACAS early conciliation and tribunals.
  • Manage a diverse caseload efficiently, ensuring adherence to policies and mitigating risks.
  • Provide insights to influence all organizational levels.
  • Assist the Head of Employee Relations in maintaining and improving ER data recording systems.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and case law.
  • Promote and drive company culture.


Requirements:


  • Strong legal background with solid ER experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Employee Relations and HR best practices.
  • CIPD (or equivalent) qualification preferred.
  • Ability to partner with HR and Legal teams to manage ER cases effectively.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, coaching, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and influence decisions.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to influence leadership and build trust quickly.
