A leading Quantitative Trading and financial technology organization is looking to hire a Senior Windows Engineer to join their Infrastructure team in London. This role within their Engineering group will be primarily focused on developing tools and programs with PowerShell. You will also be responsible for building out new Windows Infrastructure services, and providing 4th line escalation support for low level troubleshooting issues.


Desired Experience:

  • A programmatic approach to Infrastructure with extensive experience of developing custom modules and functions in PowerShell.
  • Experience of other programming/scripting languages including C# and Python is advantageous
  • Extensive experience of engineering and managing Windows on-premise infrastructures - Windows Server, Desktop, Active Directory, DNS, PKI, Kerberos, DHCP, Group Policies
  • Experience of low level debugging and tracing tools
  • Experience with configuration management and infrastructure provisioning technologies (e.g. Terraform, Azure ARM templates, Ansible)
  • Strong understanding of Information Security concepts and protocols
  • Outstanding communication skills with experience of interfacing with various teams
  • This role requires this person to be able to attend the office in London 3/4 days a week
