This is a hands-on contract role, where you’ll design, develop, and optimise high-performance, cloud-native applications that process real-time financial data securely and at scale.What You’ll DoArchitect and develop applications using Azure Cosmos DB (SQL API & Mongo API)Design and implement partitioning strategies, indexing, and consistency models for scalability and performanceBuild reusable libraries and frameworks in C#/.NET or Node.jsDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOpsMonitor and optimise Cosmos DB performance using Azure Monitor and Application InsightsImplement automated testing and unit test frameworksCollaborate with solution architects and DevOps teams to integrate Cosmos DB into microservices architecturesEnsure strict compliance with security, governance, and data protection standardsWhat We’re Looking ForStrong experience with concurrency patterns, CLR, and scalable application designHands-on expertise with Azure services: Functions, App Services, AKS, Logic AppsProven experience with Azure Cosmos DB, including query optimisation and throughput managementFamiliarity with distributed systems and NoSQL data modellingExperience with Git, version control, and CI/CD toolsThis role offers the chance to work on mission-critical financial applications, directly contributing to digital transformation initiatives while using cutting-edge Azure technologies.
