Job Title: QA Engineer/Software Test Engineer

Location: Soho, London

As a QA Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to collaborate with our development and product teams in ensuring the excellence of our software products. You will work closely with feature teams to maintain rigorous testing practices and contribute to our goal of delivering multiple releases daily, all rigorously tested through automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product owners to develop high-quality, executable test specifications
  • Write automated integration, component, and end-to-end tests
  • Advocate for and promote testing best practices among developers
  • Drive improvements in the QA team, particularly in automation and agile testing methodologies
  • Participate actively in design reviews, refinement sessions, planning, and product demos

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing
  • Proficiency in SQL and API testing
  • Experience with a Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) testing framework
  • Familiarity with working in an agile team (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Track record of delivering quality software in a continuous delivery environment
  • Strong customer focus, catering to both development partners and end-users

Work Environment:

  • We are a distributed team with flexible access to our London Soho office
  • Occasional in-person collaboration and social gatherings are encouraged
