Role Summary:


We are looking for a UX/UI Website Designer, who can enhance the user experience and user interface of our website and eCommerce platforms. Someone that can use design principles, technological understanding, and customer behaviour analysis to create interfaces that are visually appealing and easy to navigate. To facilitate greater customer engagement and maximise conversion rates.


Responsibilities:


  • Shape our customers' digital journey and ensure a seamless eCommerce experience - with consistent and visually appealing designs
  • Craft intuitive interfaces, optimise user flows, and create visually stunning experiences that drive conversions.
  • Develop and execute design systems, web and mobile user interfaces, wireframes, interactive prototypes and user flows.
  • Analyse behaviour patterns on Hotjar and Google analytics
  • Gain a deep understanding of user needs and requirements and incorporate them into the design process.
  • Work with Product Marketing to analyse user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing) to inform design decisions and validate design concepts.
  • Develop style guides to ensure brand consistency and a cohesive visual identity across digital products.
  • Align digital advertising with landing pages - to ensure consistent messaging
  • Iterate designs based on feedback and user testing, continually seeking to improve the user experience.



Experience Required:


  • 3+ years of experience
  • Proven experience developing user-friendly designs for web and mobile applications
  • Strong portfolio of past work that has enhanced conversion rates / sales
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools - Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. XD, Photoshop, Illustrator) and prototyping software (e.g Figma)
  • Working knowledge of front-end web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, to effectively communicate design specifications with our Developer.
  • Understanding of user-centred design principles and how to create user-friendly designs for eCommerce websites.
  • Both analytical and executional skillset
  • Interested in technology
