The Firm

This reputable international law firm has gone from strength to strength throughout 2023 and 2024, continued growth into 2025 forecasted and beyond. With headcount growth at 10% YOY and ambitious plans to build on this, it is a genuinely exciting time to join the firm with significant scope to progress.

The firm attracts an exceptionally high calibre of clients from HNW individuals to multinational PLCs.

Well-known for their culture, you will be part of a close-knit team that arrange regular social events, and all have the same ambitious and motivated personalities. Their culture, combined with the quality of work, has given them one of the best retention rates in the country; on average, lawyers typically stay with the firm for 5+ years, whilst the industry average is around 2 – 3 years.

The Role

The firm's highly rated employment team handles a wide range of excellent quality contentious and non-contentious work including advisory work on HR issues, disputes related work in the tribunal and courts, drafting employment documentation, employee relations and transaction/outsourcing work.

The team's workload is increasingly top end, complex, premium work and accordingly, they are working to strengthen our capacity at that level.

There are excellent prospects here for progression with the continued growth of this department and the firm. You will be joining a national department of c.35 fee-earners, with 12 based from their Manchester office.

Requirements:

  • You will be an Employment Partner with at least 7 years PQE
