Glasgow, United Kingdom The TEFL Org | World's most accredited TEFL course provider Full time

The TEFL Org is looking for a creative and self-driven Senior Content Writer based in Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Bristol.

About us

TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) is a huge and growing industry worldwide. Here at The TEFL Org, we provide world-leading online and classroom training for people of all ages and backgrounds aiming to teach abroad or online for the first time.

As the world’s most accredited TEFL course provider, we take pride in leading by example. In 2024, we earned B Corp certification, a testament to our commitment to balancing purpose and profit by meeting the highest standards of social and environmental impact. We're passionate about making a positive difference, not only for our learners but for the world around us.

We’re also Great Place to Work certified, with 100% of our team agreeing that The TEFL Org is a fantastic place to work If you’re looking to join a company where your contributions are valued, your growth is supported, and you’ll be part of a team that truly enjoys what they do, you’ll feel right at home here.

About the role

We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Content Writer to join our team and lead the development of engaging content across multiple channels.

In this newly-created role, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to help shape our content strategy, connect with global audiences, and contribute to the development and growth of our brand.

You should be someone who can think strategically, use initiative, and bring fresh ideas to the table. The ability to adapt your writing style for different audiences and platforms is essential — whether it's creating engaging, SEO-optimised web pages, crafting persuasive email campaigns that drive conversions, or writing informational PDF guides on a variety of topics. Understanding what resonates with each audience and tailoring your approach to suit the platform will be key to success in this role.

This is a fully remote role, so you’ll need to be highly self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently. As a senior team member, you’ll be expected to take initiative, lead projects, and share your expertise to support and inspire the wider team.

You’ll work as part of our content team, in close collaboration with the rest of the marketing team, and report directly to our Head of Brand. Experience managing freelancers would be a big plus.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively.
