About the Company:
Our partner, a growing and top-end capital markets and financial advisory firm, is seeking Associates to join their team. They specialise in providing full-service corporate finance advisory services, helping ambitious companies realise their true potential and achieve optimal outcomes in areas such as capital raising and M&A, and non-financial matters like Investor Relations, CSR, and ESG. They are committed to delivering high value through their extensive experience, deep understanding of capital markets, and a client-centric approach.
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our partner's team as an Associate. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial services or professional services background, with experience in financial modelling, client handling, and presentation skills. They should possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to the growth of the business. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to economic progress, job creation, and a better world.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in defining clients' capital needs and provide advice on raising debt and equity, as well as M&A activities
- Conduct financial modelling and analysis to identify optimal outcomes for transactions
- Collaborate with the team to develop innovative solutions and strategies for clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Stay updated on industry trends and market developments to provide valuable insights to clients
Requirements:
- Strong academic background, preferably in a relevant field
- Previous experience in financial services or professional services, such as Investment Banking, Management Consulting, or Accounting from a top firm
- Excellent financial modelling skills and proficiency in client handling and presentation
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to commit to the growth of the business
- Genuine interest in the business, preferably with a specialist area or sector of interest
- Strong commitment to staying with the business for 5+ years
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
