Software Test Engineer (Manual and Automation)

Contract - Competitive Day Rates (Outside IR35)

UK Residents Only - Remote Working or hybrid (East of England)


Our client are a software house and technology partner creating software that integrates with leading ERP's.


With multiple products (live/in production and new) they require additional coverage across testing. You will be running multiple tests across various products, and proactively identifying new tests required, and helping to support the ongoing quality of their products.


Requirements/Nice to have;


  • Manual Testing & Automation Testing (including writing test frameworks from scratch, and maintaining/running tests).
  • Automation Frameworks and Tools: TestComplete (beneficial) or similar.
  • Scripting Languages: Ideally knowledge of ASP.Net OR C# OR Webforms
  • Other Languages: Ideally knowledge of React/Javascript/Typescript
  • API Testing: Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI
  • Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git for managing test scripts and tracking changes.


  • Knowledge of Integration and Performance Testing highly desirable.
  • Experience/Understanding of ERP's would be highly beneficial.
  • Understand of database management (SQL) and data migrations highly beneficial.
  • Working in Agile/Scrum/Product environment required.
