Mode Search is supporting a leading luxury brand in their search for an HR Manager, based in London. The successful candidate will join a prestigious brand, offering an exciting opportunity for a hands-on HR professional to drive employee engagement and support business growth.


As the HR Manager, you will work closely with the HR Director to oversee a small HR team. This role is both operational and strategic, requiring a strong HR business partner who can build relationships with senior leaders and support the wider team with various HR initiatives. You will be instrumental in driving team engagement and supporting the leadership team, including Directors from Operations, Retail, Marketing, and Finance. The role is dynamic, with a high volume of employee relations cases, making it essential for you to be hands-on while also driving long-term HR strategy. The position will require 4 days in the office per week.


Responsibilities:


  • Support the HR Director in overseeing a team of 5, including HR Generalists, Payroll, and Talent.
  • Provide business partnering support to senior leadership across multiple functions including Operations, Retail, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and build strong relationships across the business.
  • Manage a high volume of employee relations cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Lead HR operations, including performance management, talent development, and employee well-being.
  • Help navigate the changes in the business and support cultural integration.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing strategic HR input and guidance.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices are aligned with business goals and company values.


Requirements:


  • Experience in HR management or business partnering, with a proven track record in both operational and strategic roles.
  • Strong background in handling employee relations cases and managing HR operations.
  • Demonstrable experience partnering with senior leadership to drive HR initiatives.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
  • Ability to adapt in a changing environment, particularly during periods of transformation or business growth.
  • A real "people person" who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a luxury or high-end retail environment is a plus but not essential.
  • Ability to work 4 days in the office with occasional flexibility for remote work.
