Role description

We are looking for a talented and motivated mid-level app developer to join our team. You will play a critical role in developing and maintaining high-quality mobile and web applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to expand their technical expertise and make a meaningful impact on our products.


Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable mobile and web applications e.g., React Native, Swift, Kotlin.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure smooth performance.
  • Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards.
  • Assist in the development of technical documentation and user guides.


Requirements

  • Proven experience as an app developer, with at least 4 years of professional experience in mobile and web application development.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as React, JavaScript, Swift, Kotlin, or Python.
  • Experience with frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, or Xamarin is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles, including OOP, MVC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with third-party libraries and services.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.


Qualifications

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with performance optimisation techniques and tools.
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • iOS and Android development expertise
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Background in UX/UI design principles is a plus
