Job Description:

Due to significant growth Camlin has outgrown the current core business systems and are investing in a more integrated business systems landscape, including an ERP solution. The opportunity for a Business Analyst has come up to join the Business Performance team to support the delivery of the business systems strategy as well as process improvements and developments on new and existing technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the ERP team and SME’s to understand business needs and requirements to deliver the most efficient operational processes suitable for our centralised HQ and global sites
  • Work with 3rd party delivery partners to ensure that proposed solutions meet the functional needs of the company
  • Create, maintain and contribute to various project documentation including business requirements, process flows, reports, instructions, and specifications.
  • Supporting project teams during analysis, project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing by preparing test scripts, assisting users as they preform UAT and participating in triage sessions to deal with issues raised
  • Liaise between business units, technology teams, and 3rd party suppliers to ensure alignment and understanding of business objectives, goals and requirements
  • Support data migration from legacy systems to new systems, data validation to maintain data integrity and quality
  • Proactively identify further opportunities within the business systems framework for improvement, including our CRM platform
  • Identify risks associated with the end-to-end services around Business Systems and suggest solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Support and ensure the improvement and development of systems, processes, and reports within the business, ensuring they are working to maximum efficiency.
  • Supporting Business Change and Transformation.


Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Business Analyst Role
  • A comprehensive understanding of Business Systems and ERP implementation
  • Strong written and verbal skills along with well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with all aspects of software delivery projects, from design through development, testing, implementation, and support
  • Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail
  • Ability to e to explain complex technical issues to non-IT experts
  • Problem solving
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Willingness to take ownership of issues, ensure all interested parties are kept informed of progress and deliver solutions
  • Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with changing priorities
  • Highest level of integrity, honesty and trust
  • Ability to self-motivate


Desirable:

  • Ideally a Computer Science or similar degree
  • Experience of Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations
  • Experience of Salesforce CRM
  • Understanding of ERP integration
  • Familiarity with BI Tools is desired (Power BI)
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
