LONDON


Strategic communications agency is seeking a strong Head of Strategy & Research to join their team. In this role, the successful Head of Strategy & Research will manage the work done by both the research team and strategy team in order to supply quality audience insights for programmes and campaigns and apply behaviour change, human-centres design and strategic thinking to the work of the business.


THE COMPANY:


The company supports their clients in delivering meaningful and measurable change around complex social issues globally. They work with government bodies and charities to work on theories of change, challenging social norms.


THE ROLE:

In this position, the successful candidate will:

  1. Upskill the research and strategy teams, working with the operations team and programming to allocate headcount
  2. Serve as an assigned researcher and/or strategist to a small portfolio of projects, including leading briefs and participating in bid development
  3. Help win business development proposals and support project managers to grow existing accounts and grow the company’s reputation


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. Around 10 years experience in research and strategy
  2. Experience working in a social purpose marketing agency or on government communications/accounts in a communications or marketing agency
  3. Strong understanding of different research methodologies
  4. Understanding of experimental design
  5. Presentation skills
  6. People management experience
