We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cultural Affairs & Creative Partnerships Director with a robust background in Culture, Art Institutions, or Public Relations. This role involves managing a prestigious Middle Eastern cultural account and overseeing global activations for Fashion and Luxury clients. The successful candidate will offer strategic consultancy and communications strategy advice, playing a key role in our continued growth and client satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Client Account Management: Lead and manage a major Middle Eastern cultural account and global Fashion/Luxury brand activations. Build and maintain enduring client relationships, ensuring their objectives are met with innovative solutions.
  • Strategic Consultancy: Provide expert advice on communications strategy, tailored to each client's unique needs. Develop strategic plans for brand positioning and visibility, informed by market analysis and competitor research.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Inspire and lead a team of professionals, encouraging a collaborative work environment. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success, managing resources effectively to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Global Cultural Expertise: Utilise extensive knowledge of global culture, particularly in the Middle East, to benefit projects. Stay updated on cultural trends, institutional dynamics, and regulatory changes.
  • Travel and Flexibility: Ready to travel internationally at short notice for client meetings and project execution. Represent the company at global events, enhancing brand visibility and networking.
  • Networking and Relationship Building: Leverage and expand an existing network within cultural, fashion, and luxury sectors. Identify and engage new partners and collaborators.
  • Communication and Reporting: Maintain clear communication with clients, providing regular updates and reports. Ensure all communications reflect the company's high professional standards.
  • Project Execution and Quality Assurance: Oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards. Conduct regular quality assessments to maintain high delivery standards.


Qualifications:


  • 7+ years of experience in a mid-senior to senior role within Culture, Art Institutions, or Public Relations.
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Deep understanding of global culture and its dynamics.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, particularly applied to the cultural sector.
  • Well-travelled with high readiness for last-minute travel.
  • An existing network in relevant industries is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in Arabic is essential.
