About the Role

As the Finance ERP Solutions Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, configuration, and implementation of a cutting-edge Finance ERP system. This is a contract position with an initial term of 12 months, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact transformation programme at one of the world’s most prestigious legal firms.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the ERP configuration aligns with strategic goals, delivers measurable business benefits, and integrates seamlessly with operational processes. A confident leader, you will ensure ownership of the ERP configuration across finance and operational teams while maintaining focus on the business-critical requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and configuration of the firm’s new Finance ERP system, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Establish ownership of ERP configuration across the finance and operational teams.
  • Ensure the programme delivers on the Business Case objectives, with benefits tracked and realized.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to assign process ownership for finance workflows.
  • Oversee alignment of finance processes and workflows to deliver measurable improvements.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement, balancing high-level strategic goals with business-critical requirements.


Key Skills and Experience

  • Proven Expertise in Finance Transformation: Experience leading large-scale finance ERP implementation projects, ideally within professional services or legal sectors.
  • Strategic Focus: Ability to design ERP configurations that align with long-term business objectives and operational requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Change Management Expertise: Track record of managing significant change programmes, ensuring adoption across diverse teams.
  • Benefits Realization: Strong capability to define, measure, and deliver benefits as outlined in the Business Case.
  • Process and Workflow Design: Experience ensuring finance processes are optimized and aligned with system capabilities.


Contract Details

  • Location: London (hybrid working available).
  • Duration: 12 with potential for extension.
  • Rate: Competitive day rate, commensurate with experience.
