Job Description: Lead Office 365 Administrator


Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:


  • Certification: Must be O365 certified.
  • Expertise Areas: Crucial experience includes Intune, Exchange, SharePoint, and MS Teams.
  • User and License Management: Manage user accounts, licenses, and access rights, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Collaboration: Work with IT teams to implement new features and resolve technical issues, providing expert guidance and training to users.
  • Support: Provide 3rd line support to hundreds of systems around the world.
  • System Audits and Monitoring: Conduct regular system audits, performance monitoring, and reporting to maintain the highest standards of data integrity and compliance.

Essential Skills and Experience:


  • Office 365 Administration: Proven experience in Office 365 administration and troubleshooting (3rd line support).
  • Technical Proficiency: Ideally a strong understanding of Exchange, SharePoint, Azure, and Active Directory.
  • Scripting: Familiarity with PowerShell scripting to automate tasks and streamline processes.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proactive Learning: A proactive approach to staying abreast of the latest Office 365 developments and best practices.


Qualifications:


  • Educational Background: A relevant degree in Information Technology.
  • Certifications: Microsoft certifications in Office 365.

What You'll Need to Succeed:


  • Technical Background: Hands-on technical experience combined with strong team and supplier management skills.
  • Enterprise Environment: High level of understanding in an enterprise-level digital environment with practical experience in a 3rd line application environment.
  • Technical Leadership: Demonstrable experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Microsoft Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Server / O365 environments.
  • Azure Cloud Services: Expertise in Azure Cloud services.
  • ITIL Knowledge: Strong understanding of ITIL.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills.
