Syndicate Reporting Manager | 6-12 months FTC | £100k-£120k


Arthur have partnered with a Lloyd's market insurer to support with their search for an experienced Syndicate Reporting Manager to cover an absence for a 6-12 month fixed term. The role will be based in London with the option for hybrid working 2/3 days per week.


You will be responsible for the preparation and review of Syndicate regulatory returns, production of management information and project finance work. You will also prepare analytical tools and reports to support the information produced.


Main Responsibilities


  • Production and review of Syndicate reporting to Lloyd's (QMA, QMB, GQD, Solvency II)
  • Annual production of underwriting financial statements
  • Technical production of syndicate returns
  • Produce analytical tools and analytical memos for reports produced
  • Support with the preparation of internal reports
  • Support audit process
  • Maintain systems for internal controls
  • Develop the reporting process and improvements for increased accuracy, efficiency and timelines
  • Participate on finance transformation projects where required


Skills & Experience


  • Lloyd's market insurance experience (Essential)
  • Lloyd's accounting and reporting experience, UK GAAP, Solvency II (Essential)
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA Equivalent)
  • Knowledge of Lloyd's software (Desirable)
