Senior Site Manager

This role requires significant travel across the UK. UK Driving license is critical as well as the ability to be away from home on regular site visits.


Typical weekly schedule will include Monday-Friday site based with all expenses paid.


Our client are one of the UKs largest Renewable Energy IPPs with a multi-GW renewables asset portfolio. They've got even bigger targets to reach in the coming decade which will see them as one of the largest owner/operators across Europe.


Key responsibilities

  • Site based construction management of renewable energy projects during build phase
  • Select, secure and management of subcontractors to ensure smooth running of projects
  • Promote first class HSE standards in compliance with relevant regulations and protocols
  • Travel as needed to sites all across the UK - often staying away from home during the week


Essential experience

  • Extensive experience in construction management with a preference towards solar PV
  • Strong exposure to electrical infrastructure environments coupled with civils and mechanical
  • Degree qualified in relevant field, alternatively equivalent qualifications and/or certifications
  • Valid UK driving licence and the ability to travel extensively
