Role Description


This is a full-time hybrid role for an Embedded System Engineer at Subsea Insight. As an Embedded System Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of embedded software and electrical systems. You will work closely with the team to implement solutions and ensure the reliability and performance of our products. This role is located in Burscough, with flexibility for some remote work.


Qualifications


  • Embedded Software and Software Development skills
  • Electrical Engineering and Electronics knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience of Embedded C
  • Experience with Microcontrollers (MSP430, ARM, ESP32)
  • Knowledge of low-power operation and techniques
  • Knowledge of real-time debugging
  • Experience with C#
  • Experience with PCB CAD software and circuit design
  • Experience with using PC terminal programs e.g. Putty or Teraterm
  • Experience with Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio and Eclipse-based IDEs
