Lead Technician Role

Eclipse Presentations is seeking a Lead Video Technician who will focus on their specialist technology. You will be responsible for leading your department within the warehouse. This includes the prep and maintenance, of equipment in projects spanning our primary market of Corporate Events ensuring smooth delivery and meeting client expectations.

To work in close cooperation with the Warehouse Senior Team to deliver an overall and seamless operation of your department in the warehouse.

To assist the Warehouse Senior Team in the continuous development of Warehouse facilities, including storage areas, equipment stocks and related services in order to achieve effective and organised Warehouse operations, whilst ensuring compliance with the Company’s Health & Safety obligations.

Responsibilities including but not limited to:

· Proactively lead the department within the warehouse.

· Prepare and Maintain Equipment for events.

· To proactively solve any technical issues as they arise during prepping of equipment, referring to either the Prep Supervisor or Project Manager as necessary.

· To assist the team with all routine PAT testing and Rigging inspection requirements, understanding that responsibilities required to carry out the task, ensuring colleagues are maintaining the highest standards of testing.

· Making sure the designated area of the warehouse is kept tidy and orderly.

· Proactively support the Warehouse Senior Team with all routine warehouse activities as directed.

· To carry out any other duties as may be required by the Warehouse Senior Team.

Lead Video Technician Specification - Experience/Qualifications/Training:

· Proven Experience working with Barco Switchers, Laptops, MacBooks, Projectors, Signage Screens.

· Experience preparing and maintaining data and video equipment.

· A demonstrable understanding of the importance of high-quality customer service (both internal and external) placing the customer at the heart of what we do at Eclipse.

· Ability to work well under pressure, able to prioritise most time sensitive tasks.
